Ibibo hires new MD for its Ecommerce biz

Mumbai, Oct 7: Internet and mobile product company Ibibo today (Oct 7) appointed Krishna Motukuri as its managing director of the Ecommerce business. Prior to this appointment, Motukuri was associated with Lulu.com and Amazon.com "We are very excited to get Krishna on board to partner with us to build out our various Ecommerce businesses.

Krishna has lots of entrepreneurial and Ecommerce experience, which will enable us to further scale our current properties and develop new ones," Ibibo Web Group Chief Executive Officer Ashish Kashyap said in a statement issued here. Motukuri will be in charge of online shopping and classifieds platforms such as tradus.in, tradusads.com, it said.

The company is jointly owned by South Africa's Naspers and Chinese internet company Tencent.
