Mumbai: PT instructor sodomises 6-year-old boy

Mumbai, Oct 4: A Physical training (PT) instructor has been arrested by the Mumbai police for allegedly sodomising a six year-old boy, said the police.

25-year-old, Shivaji Tawde sodomised the victim after taking him to the toilet of the Manav Mandir School, Walkeshwar on Wednesday and Thursday last week threatening him of dire consequences if he revealed anything to anybody.

The incident came to light after the victim started bleeding when his mother was giving him a bath.

The victim however, had confided the name of one of his seniors, a 10-year-old boy in the school as he was scared of Tawade but later on revealed Tawade's name to his parents.

An FIR against the PT instructor was lodged with the police and Tawade was arrested from his residence at Ghatkopar on Oct 2, said Vinay Bagade, senior police inspector, Malabar Hill Police Station.
