Drug case: Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan found guilty

Mumbai, Oct 4: Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan on Tuesday, Oct 4 has been found guilty in a drug case. Court will deliver sentence on Nov 2. Sources claimed that Fardeen might be sent to jail only for six months.

Fardeen was arrested in 2001 over allegedly buying and consuming banned drugs. Earlier, Fardeen was accused of possessing 9 gm of cocaine.

The Bollywood actor was arrested over possessing 10 gm of cocaine which was allegedly seized from him outside a suburban Mumbai restraint.

However, Fardeen's lawyer, while defending him in court in 2001, had argued that he (Fardeen) was negotiating the purchase of one gram of cocaine from a drug peddler when the narcotics control bureau arrested him.
