Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi
Bhopal, Oct 2: The huge property of late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi will be taken care by his youngest daughter, Saba Ali Khan, and not by his son, Saif Ali Khan. Saba has been named as the custodian of the trust, which is being appointed to look after Pataudi's properties spread from Bhopal to Saudi Arabia.

On Sunday, Oct 2, sources informed that Pataudi along with Saba had visited Bhopal few months back. During their visit, Pataudi reportedly had named Saba as his Naib Mutawalli (deputy).

However, citing an official letter from Saba claiming the post, Wakf Board in Madhya Pradesh has designated her as the Mutawalli of Aukaf-e-Shahi Trust.

Pataudi's huge properties, which are estimated worth billion of rupees, include grand mosques, religious structures, the famous dargah of Sufi saint Baba Peer Fatehullah at Raisen, charitable institutions, graveyards and the Rubaats (shelters) for Haj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, sources claimed that the assets are of Wakf Board's properties and Saba's role will be more of a supervisory nature.
