Panipat: 69 fall ill after consuming buckwheat flour

Panipat, Sept 30: Around 69 people from Panipat fell ill after consuming adulterated buckwheat flour on Thursday, Sept 29. They were all rushed to the hospital since their condition were serious.

However, the doctors said that they were out of danger. Following the incident, the Health authorities conducted raids on shops selling the flour, which is locally called 'Kuttu Ka Atta'.

Four samples of the flour were seized to check for adulteration. Some shopkeepers have pulled down their shutters to avoid facing action.
