Major fire destroys Paragon polymers industry in Bangalore

Bangalore, Sep 30: A major fire in Paragon Polymers destroyed the building completely in the industrial area in Peenya in Bangalore. The massive fire broke at around 3:30 pm on Friday.

43 fire engines rushed to the accident place. No casualty reports have been reported yet. Initial media reports claimed that many employees of the company struck inside the building. However, fire brigade officials later confirmed that no one was there inside the building at the time of the incident.

It took almost 4-5 hours to control the fire causing a major property loss. The cause of the reason is being investigated.

Recently, a two-storeyed house collapsed after a domestic cooking gas cylinder burst in the city causing a fire. Police suspected the explosion led to a reaction on some chemical substance stored on the ground floor of the collapsed building. Two persons died over the accident.
