2G: Read the Fin Ministry note that framed Chidambaram

New Delhi, Sept 30: Following the controversial Finance Ministry note that had framed the Home Minister P Chidamabaram that cited his complicity in the 2G spectrum auction, there were reports of a rift within the two Cabinet Ministers, Paranab Mukherjee and P Chidambaram.

After the Opposition and others stepped up their attack on the issue seeking Chidamabaram's resignation on the matter, the issue was put out before it flared up. After the UPA decided to put up a united stand and back the Home Minister unconditionally, the Prime Minister also put his complete trust to back Chidamabaram in the moment of crisis.
