Will hold impartial probe into Paramakudi firing:J. Sampath

The commission would perform its duties and responsibilities impartially to bring out the truth, the Justice said.
The Justice believes that if people cooperate with him, it would be easy for him to investigate the case. He would also understand the views and grievances of people more clearly.
He listened to everyone's view, especially those of kins of the victims. He also inspected the place where the clashes between the police and the victims took place. He will take formal recording of the statements later on.
Mr Sampath hoped that the demonstration staged by the people would stop and they would cooperate with the commission.
A retired Madras High Court judge, Justice Sampath was quoted as saying, “I have an open mind. I don't act on assumption or perception."
