Tata Motors will study HC judgement

Kolkata, Sep 28: Tata Motors today (Sept 28) said it would study the judgement of the Calcutta High Court on the Singur land Rehabilitation and Development Act, 2011 before deciding its next course of action.

"Tata Motors has learnt of Calcutta High Court ruling on the Singur land Rehabilitation and Development Act, 2011. The company will study the judgement and decide its next course of action," it said in a statement.

The Tata Motors'' statement came shortly after the Calcutta High Court upheld as constitutional and valid the Singur land Rehabilitation and Development Act, 2011 by which the West Bengal government vested the land leased to the Tata Motors.
