Print, news agencies barred from covering Rahul's visit

"We have been asked to allow only electronic media to cover functions of Rahul Gandhi tomorrow. Print and news agencies are not allowed," Joint Director of Information, J&K, Soujany Sharma said.
"We had raised the issue of allowing all media to attend the function of Rahul Gandhi but it was turned down by Special Protection Group (SPG)," he said.
Rahul Gandhi, who began his two-day visit to the state today, addressed a public rally in Kargil and later held interactions with Kashmir University students.
He is scheduled to address sarpanches in Rajouri tomorrow and attend a function at Gurjar Desh Charitable organisation, NSUI function.
