2G:Pranab Mukherjee running after uproar in JPC?Oppn attacks

It seems like Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee along with his colleagues will have to rush to the JPC after being summoned by the investigative committee.
Opposition parties claimed that Pranab and the finance ministry have so far kept the world in dark over the 2G spectrum scam. Opposition parties' such accusation against Pranab and Co came after a letter from the finance minister hurled derogating remarks against Home Minister P Chidambaram.
An RTI report recently unveiled that Mr Mukherjee in a letter, which was sent in Mar 2011, informed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that Chidambaram could have prevented the 2G scam along with the then telecom minister, A Raja in 2008.
Chidambarm on Monday met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and offered his resignation. However, Mr Mukherjee also met Sonia on the same day and praised the home minister as a "valued colleague."
