AP paralysed but CM office watches dance on Telangana song

Protest for Telangana
Hyderabad, Sept 26: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and his colleagues in office on Monday, Sept 26 watched a different style of protest for Telangana.

The striking employees at the secretariat performed traditional dance with Telangana folk songs following the protest for separate statehood.

A group of protesting men and women participated in the Bathukamma dance, which is generally performed to celebrate the spring festival in the region, at the 'C' block of the CM's office.

Such kind of protest has been shown when the rest of Andhra Pradesh, especially Hyderabad, has been paralysed over the strike (bus, auto-rickshaw) and rail-blockades.

Doctors, lawyers and several student organisations also joined the strike. All schools and colleges in the Telangana region have been closed from past 13 days.
