Nepal:Deadly Mt Everest visit;Plane crashes, 18 dead

Kathmandu, Sep 25: A plane with 16 foreign tourists and three crew members crashed in Nepal on Sunday, Sep 25. The plane was on its way to Kathmandu airport from a tour of Mount Everest.

The plane was out of contact with the control tower for more than an hour on Sunday morning. Initially missing report about the plane emerged, however, within an hour, officials confirmed that the plane crashed.

After visiting the high peaks of the Mount Everest, the plane was returning to Kathmandu airport and crashed near the valley. Nepal, recently witnessed a massive earthquake.

Recent reports also claimed that 10 out of the 16 tourists were Indians (reportedly all Tamilians) who were present in the plane. 18 members are feared dead.
