2G: CBI records BJP's Jaswant Singh's statement; PC next?

New Delhi, Sep 24: The investigative agency Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Saturday, Sep 24 recorded statement of BJP leader Jaswant Singh over the 2G spectrum scam. Jaswant Singh was the then finance minister during BJP's tenure in the central.

As a part of its preliminary inquiry, CBI has been questioning Jaswant Singh since last two days and recorded his final statement on Saturday.

The investigative agency hurled its gun at the BJP leader as he (Singh) headed the Group of Ministers on spectrum in the BJP-led NDA government.

However, many have already questioning - will CBI start investigation on home minister, P Chidambaram who is being accused of not doing enough to prevent the 2G spectrum scam in 2008.
