Advani's yatra coming soon, Nitish to refuse support?

LK Advani
New Delhi, Sep 21: After Narendra Modi's three day fast, former BJP President LK Advani is coming up with an anti-corruption Rath Yatra from Jayaprakash Narayan"s village Sitabdiara in Bihar from October 11. Nitish Kumar's government can refuse to support his Rath Yatra.

Nitish Kumar again can deny to lend his support for Advani's yatra as he did for Narendra Modi's fast. Many people thinks Narendra Modi's fast and Advani's yatra as a means to achieve the top position at 2014 general elections.

Janata Dal (United) leader Shivanand Tiwari has ben quoted as saying, “Why should Nitish Kumar or anyone from the JD(U) go there suo motu for a BJP political event? And the state administration is not supposed to assist a political event."

He added that Advani wanted to show he was more acceptable than Modi, but if Nitish stays away in Bihar, he would not be able to claim so, and the confusion in the BJP would only grow.

On Wednesday, (Sep 21) Advani met Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwant and said that the RSS and the people of India had given him far more than the post of PM could.

RSS sources revealed that they will support BJP veteran leader LK Advani's rath yatra if his yatra's is for corruption and not a means for the 2014 elections where he can stand for the Prime Minister's position.

Muslims may not be happy with Advani's yatra due to the Ram Rath Yatra's memories. If Nitish Kumar supports Advani's yatra, people can say that Lalu stopped Advani's yatra but Nitish is supporting it. Even other BJP leaders including Narendra Modi can come to the state to support Advani's yatra. If Modi doesn't come, people can say Modi don't want to enter Nitish's regime.
