Laxmi-Venkateshwara - the wedding hall, which reportedly caught fire soon after the explosion, is located at the outskirts of the city.
Receiving the accident alert, nine fire brigades rushed to the spot. Rescue operations have been started. Concerned officials have assured the safety of all the people.
