New Delhi, Sep 20: Amar Singh's aide Suhail Hindustani's bail plea hearing has been reserved till Sep 29 over cash for votes. Hindustani allegedly had played a key role in the whole controversy over cash for votes which had stirred the Parliament ahead of the Indo-US nuclear deal in 2008.

Hindustani, who has been arrested for playing a key role in the Cash-for-votes scam, collapsed in Tis Hazari court on Monday. He complained of severe chest pain.

Hindustani was arrested in Jul 2011 for helping to bribe three BJP MPs to support the government in a trust vote in 2008. He allegedly played the middleman in the scam. According to Delhi police, Hindustani danced in the tune played by former Samajwadi party chief Amar Singh.
