Earthquake jolts Bihar; death toll rises to six

Meanwhile, Bihar Prime Minister Nitish Kumar deployed disaster management department in affected areas, and ordered all district magistrates to supply required resources to victims.
Sources said that two people died in Nawada and one each in Darbhanga, Nalanda, Bhagalpur and Patna. A seven year old girl also died when a wall collapsed at Harnaut.
Bihar CM has announced a compensation of Rs 1.5 lakh each to relatives of those who died in the quake.
"The chief minister has issued orders to alert all police stations, block offices and National Disaster Response Force teams," the chief minister's office said.
The deadly quake has left 26 dead and over 100 injured all over India till now.
