RSS to sideline LK Advani out of 2014 PM race?

New Delhi, Sep 18: RSS has decided to support BJP senior leader, LK Advani's rath yatra against corruption only if he opts out of the 2014 Prime Minister race for the general elections, said sources.

According to sources, Advani did not consult RSS before conducting his rath yatra against corruption, which upset them.

Sources also reveal that RSS has conveyed the message to Advani that RSS would only support him depending on his announcement that he would not stand for the Prime Ministerial candidate.

"The question of the Sangh consenting to any particular campaign against corruption does not arise," said RSS leader Ram Madhav a day after Advani announced his yatra.

The RSS like Nitin Gadkari is also of the same view that, it is yet to be decided who the prime ministerial candidate will be.
