JK govt failed to provide basic amenities to people: PDP

Jammu, Sep 19: The People's Democratic Party today accused the National Conference-led government in Jammu and Kashmir of failing to provide basic amenities to people of Inderwal Assembly segment.

"Inderwal constituency is suffering due to lack of basic amenities likes roads, water, electricity and ration," PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti told a party workers' meeting at Thathri, about 200 km from here.

Education and health sectors in this mountainous belt are in bad shape, she said adding students are suffering due to staff shortage and lack of infrastructure in schools. The only hospital in the area also lacks basic facilities, equipment and staff, she said.
