10 Kg gold recovered from Janardhana Reddy aide's locker

Bellary, Sep 18: The CBI has recovered 10 kg gold apart from documents in the lockers of Srinivasa Reddy, Managing Director, Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC).

A CBI team from Hyderabad on Sep 17 checked 12 bank accounts and 6 lockers of Srinivasa Reddy, who was was brought to the bank by the CBI to verify lockers owned by him and make enquiries into his monetary transactions.

Srinivasa Reddy's wife, Srilatha along with her three children were also taken to the bank, where they wanted to record the statement of his wife.

CBI is also investigating into the matter of the truck seized in Guntakal carrying cash worth Rs 5 lakh.

Srinivasa was arrested by CBI sleuths on Sep 5 along with mining baron, Janardhana Reddy for their involvement in the illegal mining scam.
