Vikram Lamba's 'misfire' hurts Rahul Bhatt

Mumbai, Sept 16: Did ever Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt's son, Rahul imagine that he has to pay the price unnecessarily and face legal trouble for someone else's mistake? The misfiring incident by Vikram Lamba, Mallika Sherawat's brother, has pushed Bhatt into dual trouble.

Rahul Bhatt's armed police bodyguard is under the scanner for his suspected negligence at the time Vikram Lamba's pistol is said to have misfired in the presence of Bhatt.

"It is very surprising that he did not hear the sound, despite it being very loud," said a police officer adding, "We are inquiring into the circumstances under which he was present at the spot. We will be preparing a report about him."

On the other hand, Bhatt's possibilities for obtaining firearm licence from Mumbai police also might be diminished as he was involved in the incident.

The young Bhatt, who was into controversies for his friendship with terrorist David Headley has got entangled in fresh trouble now.
