Woman to file court case against Big B for mental harassment

Fathegarh Sahib, Sept 16: A woman has decided to move court against megastar Amitabh Bachchan after she became the recipient of thousand calls from across the globe after Big B gave his mobile number on his show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), which was found to be the woman's.

In the television show KBC, Amitabh Bachchan gave his mobile number as 987730000 after a contestant requested that he give her his number.

Calls flooded the number when fans started calling on 9877300000 and not 987730000, by adding another zero to the latter making the number a ten digit one. The number 9877300000 co-incidentally was being used by sister of Puneet Bansal, an industrialist by profession and a resident of Mandi Gobindgarh in Fatehgarh Sahib.

Bansal on Sept 15 said that they received thousands of calls from fans not only from India but also from abroad in the night of Sep 12, the day the show was telecast.

According to Puneet, their family was mentally harassed adding that they contacted the service provider but all their efforts went in vain. The woman's family will now move court and serve a notice to Bachchan.
