Hoax Mail on Delhi blast:14-yr-old boy arrested from Kolkata

Delhi blast 2011
New Delhi, Sept 14: The investigative agency NIA on Tuesday, Sept 13 arrested a person over the hoax terror mail claiming responsibility of the Delhi bomb blast. However, the NIA officials on Wednesday revealed the shocking fact that the detained person is a 14-year-old boy who had sent two mails on the name of terror group HuJI for "excitement".

Sunny Sharma, a net-savvy English medium student, reportedly had experienced similar kind of "excitement" earlier. Sharma reportedly sent a prank mail to BCCI to replace MS Dhoni with Parthiv Patil as the captain of India Cricket team.

The NIA team arrested Sharma from Pakur, a place near the Bengal-Jharkhand border. Sharma was booked under section 66(A) of the IT Act that deals with prank calls/mails that create panic among the public.

Multiple terror emails have so far confused the investigating agency NIA. They have received four mails claiming responsibility of the blast in which 13 people died and more than 70 were injured. Sharma reportedly sent the second and fourth mail.
