Kannada actor Darshan and wife meet at hospital

Bangalore, Sept 12: Vijayalakshmi, wife of Kannada actor Darshan's visited the actor at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases on Sunday, Sept 11.

The actor is currently undergoing treatment for jaundice, asthama, lung infection at the hospital. The couple's meeting lasted for about 45 minutes. Reports suggest that both were in tears after meeting each other trying to comfort each other.

Vijayalakshmi, who was undergoing treatment for several injuries at BGS Hospital, sought permission of the doctors to meet her husband and arrived in an SUV to meet him.

The actor's wife was admitted to hospital on Sept 9 for treatment of several injuries.

"She had fracture of the index finger of both hands. No major surgery was required. She is clinically stable and is ready for discharge," said Dr G Mallinath, orthopedic surgeon, BGS Hospital.
