TN: Police fires on Dalit protesters, 3 dead, many injured

A procession led by Pandian was held on the death anniversary of an another leader - Imanual Sekeran. Police arrested Pandian and took him away.
Following his arrest, angry protesters started agitating against police in Paramakudi and in Madurai in Tamil Nadu. The protesters allegedly attacked woman police constables and inspectors.
Reports claimed that police started firing when they failed to disperse the mob. Unfortunately, three people were dead and many were injured.
