On day 4, agencies still confused over explosives used

ew Delhi, Sep 10: The forensic laboratories probing into the Sep 7 Delhi High Court blast are still clueless about the deadly components used in the bomb, said sources.

Sources also reveal that the reports from four different laboratories have come up with different theories in the case.

There are also claims that some amount of nitrate was used in the bomb adding that there was no clearness on the what exact compound was used.

Various reports suggest that some amount of PETN (pentaerythritol tetranitrate), nitrate components and some fuel was also used in the bomb, but there was no unanimity.

Bansal, Secretary (Internal Security) UK on Sep 7 hours after the blast revealed that some amount of PETN was recovered from the blast site.
