TN: MLA grabs Mahatma Gandhi's land, arrested

According to District Crime Branch DSP Parameswaram, Nedunchezhian was arrested in connection with the case registered on a complaint by an official of the ashram.
The ashram was set up in 1925 by late Rajaji, known as the conscience keeper of Mahatma Gandhi, on four acres of land donated by a local zamindar with the objective of empowerment of rural women and creation of self sufficiency for rural poor.
