Twist: Kannada actor Darshan sent to jail; Wife takes U-turn

Bangalore, Sep 9: Kannada superstar, Darshan, who was arrested on Friday, Sep 9, has been sent to jail in judicial custody over allegedly beating his wife Vijayalakshmi.

Darshan has been sent to the jail in Konappana Agrahara near Electronic City. However, the entire case has taken a new twist after Vijayalakshmi took a complete U-turn from her initial statement.

Vijayalakshmi, who earlier filed FIR stating Darshan had physically abused her and threatened to kill her and their son if she does not return his properties, retracted from her sayings.

Darshan's wife claimed that the actor did not abuse her and she received the brutal injuries as she has slept in their bathroom.

It was also reported that Darshan and Vijayalakshmi were engaged in domestic violence as the superstar is allegedly having a love affair with actress Nikitha
