Janardhana Reddy's bail plea in court today

Hyderabad Sept 9 : The special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court will on Friday (Today) hear the bail pleas proposed by former Karnataka tourism minister Janardhana Reddy and Managing Director of Obulapuram Mining Company BV Srinivasa Reddy. Who has been arrested by CBI in connection to mining scam under Prevention of Corruption Act.

Sources said that, on Thursday, Sept 8, the hearing on the bail petition of Janardhana Reddy and his brother-in-law Srinivasa Reddy was adjourned to Friday (Today) as the lawyers were boycotting the court in protest against the Sept 6 Delhi High Court bomb blast which left 13 people dead and over 95 injured.

Janardhana Reddy, owner of the Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) and his brother-in-law and firm's managing director Srinivasa Reddy were arrested by the CBI on Monday, Sept 5 and send to judicial custody till Sept 19 in a case of illegal mining in Andhra Pradesh. The CBI had booked a case against Obulapuram Mining Company in the illegal mining case in 2009.
