LK Advani to start anti-corruption yatra before 'arrest'

New Delhi, Sept 8: The senior leader of the main opposition party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), LK Advani on Thursday, Sept 8 expressed his desire to start an anti-corruption yatra (procession) before the next Parliament session.

Earlier the BJP leader dared the government asking them (government) to arrest him (Advani) over the cash-for-votes scam which has stormed the Parliament on Thursday.

Advani in the Lok Sabha, took the responsibility for the whole cash for votes sting operation.

The BJP also submitted a notice for the suspension of question hour in the parliament over the cash-for-votes issue so that a discussion takes place on the arrest of two of its MPs in connection with the same.

Both the houses of Parliament have been adjourned following the uproar over the cash-for-votes-scam.

Amar Singh, ex-Samajwadi party leader, who was arrested on Sept 6 has been accused of bribing three BJP MPs. Singh is currently lodged in Tihar jail under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
