BSY comes up with another lame excuse to skip court

Bangalore, Sep 8: BS Yeddyurappa on Sept 7 sought exemption from appearing in the court as his stepping out of office or home only leads to halt in the traffic to give way to his convoy, said reports.

Ravi B Naik, Yeddyurappa's counsel also told Lokayukta that his client was given 'Z' category security and whenever he would travel, traffic came to a halt.

"It causes inconvenience to the people. Also, in the court, due to the security, judicial proceedings are being disrupted. Moreover, his presence is not required now," said Naik.

However, N K Sudhindra Rao, judge refused to pass an order for exemption and said that BSY could file an application on the days he was to appear.
