Jayalalithaa sweeps out DMK? Stalin aide's kin arrested

Chennai, Sep 5: It seems that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK chief, Jayalalithaa would not leave a single stone unturned to bruise M Karunanidhi's party - DMK. Continuing the arrest saga over illegal land grabbing in the state, another former DMK minister's brother has been detained by the emigration department on Monday, Sep 5.

Karunanidhi's son and former deputy CM, MK Stalin's close aide, KN Nehru's brother, KN Ramajayam was handed over to the airport police officials. A look out notice was earlier issued against Ramajayam who has been accused in an illegal land grabbing case where 13,290 sqft of land in Tiruchirappalli was forcibly obtained for construction of DMK party office.

Ten other DMK men along with Nehru and his brother were accused of the same land grab case. However, Nehru has already been taken under police custody. Nehru was arrested by the state police on Aug 25.

Nehru was the third minister of the DMK regime who has been targetted by the AIADMK government over the same land grabbing case.
