2G spectrum scam: P Chidambaram to face jail term?

Allahabad, Sept 5: Janata Party chief Subramanium Swamy, during his speech on 'Corruption: Danger to Democracy", said that in order to eradicate corruption from roots, it's necessary to vote out the present congress-led UPA govt, which is being headed by spineless Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. He also slammed Union home minister P Chidambaram saying PC should get ready to face the prison for his role in the 2G Spectrum.

Swamy also blasted Digvijay Singh for his comments on corruption. Perhaps Singh has watched corruption from very close quarters which is the reason why he advised yoga guru Baba Ramdev on refraining from accepting donations in cash, Swamy said.

He said that the system of allotting spectrum licence in 2008 on rates fixed in 2001 was the biggest reason behind the 2G Spectrum scam.
