Anna's 1st public rally in 'disappointed' Ralegan Siddhi

Pune, Sep 2: After returning from Gurgaon hospital, Anna Hazare made his public appearance for the first time on Friday, Sep 2. Attending a rally in his own village - Ralegan Siddhi, the 74-year-old Gandhian crusader enhanced the victory celebration of the villagers.

The villagers celebrated Anna's victory during his 13-day-long fast in Delhi's Ramlila Maidan demanding a strong Jan Lokpal Bill. However, earlier reports claimed that villagers of Ralegan Siddhi were disappointed as the veteran remained confined in his room and they could barely catch a glimpse of him.

Anna's personal secretary had informed that the Gandhian was extremely fatigued, though he also claimed, "Although his vital signs are stable, the 12 days of fasting has taken its toll on Anna and left him very weak. He has spells of giddiness and so he has decided to rest in his room."

Meanwhile, Anna's public appearance made people happy and added extra charm to the Ganesha puja celebration.
