Rs.1.05 lakh counterfeit notes seized in Indore
Accused Naresh Panwar and Shivendra alias Bunty were held with fake notes in the denomination of Rs 1000 and Rs 100, Superintendent of Police Srinivas Verma told reporters here.
Four mobile handsets were also recovered from their possession, he said. The duo admitted to have smuggled the fake currency from Maharashtra, the SP said.
The two have already dealt in fake currency worth Rs 2.5 lakh, police said adding it is also probing their links with those printing illegal currency. Bunty has spent seven years in jail in connection with the same crime.
