Anna hospitalised but supporters celebrate @ India Gate

New Delhi, Aug 28: After his 12-day long indefinite fast for strong Jan Lokpal Bill, Anna Hazare finally broke his fast on Sunday, Aug 28. The 74-year-old Gandhian crusader was soon taken to Medanta hospital in Gurgaon for further check-up. But all Delhites and Anna's supporters have been invited on the same day at India Gate to celebrate the nation's victory over Lokpal Bill.

"We appeal to all the people present here to come to India Gate in the evening where we will celebrate our republic," Anna's close aide, Arvind Kejriwal stated while inviting the people to India's one of the most beautiful monument at the national capital.

Anna, who lost almost enight kilograms in 12-day hunger strike, has been advised to stay on coconut water and honey diet. The medical team in the Gurgaon hospital includes a cardiologist, a specialist in internal medicine, a critical care expert and an endocrinologist. Earlier the team had feared that the fasting might have affected his internal organs.

Meanwhile, reports have been emerged that Anna, who had skipped his visit to India Gate while moving towards Ramlila Maidan from Tihar jail on Aug 19, is normal and was responding to the treatments.
