Protest against corruption still running full pace in Bihar

The activists of All India Students Association (AISA), who had called state-wide bandh in support of Anna Hazare's movement against corruption tried to force closure of colleges and offices of the Patna University here.
The lawyers, students and activists of the IAC kept fast, brought out processions and rallies and held demonstrations at different places, including Bhagalpur, Araria, Munger, Motihari, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Hajipur, Samastipur and Patna expressing solidarity with the movement launched by Anna Hazare at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi.
State IAC convener Sanjay Kumar Dutta said supporters of Anna Hazare with the help of Bihar Government Undertaking Association brought out a motorcycle rally in the state capital.
He said the fast and sit-ins continued at Kargil Chowk under the banner of the IAC.
IAC activists also continued the signature campaign and mass contact programme in support of the Gandhian.
