Amar Singh
New Delhi, Aug 24: Amar Singh, Rajya Sabha member and Rashtriya Lok Manch president has been charge-sheeted for offering bribe to three BJP MPs in 2008 under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

According to reports, a crore was reportedly given in cash to MPs so that they support Prime Minster, Manmohan Singh during a trust vote in Jul 2008.

The entire operation to expose the UPA government was planned by Sudheendru Kulkarni, an advisor to LK Advani. BJP also alleged that Singh also used middlemen to bribe the party's MPs.

Amar singh quit his party after there were differences with the Samajwadi Chief, Mulayam Singh Yadav.
