Thackeray on Jan Lokpal: Bedi, Kejriwal to fast after Anna?

Mumbai, Aug 24: 74-year-old Anna Hazare's deteriorating health made all people tensed when his indefinite fast entered the ninth day on Wednesday, Aug 24. Citing the medical reports on Anna's health, Shiv Sena supremo, Bal Thackeray sent a letter to the Gandhian crusader asking him (Anna) to break his fast.

Thackeray, in his letter, also urged Anna to allow Team Anna's crucial members such as - Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia to continue the fight initiated by Anna for a strong Jan Lokpal Bill.

"In view of your deteriorating health, now end your fast. Even after that, the agitation can continue. After you end your hunger strike, let your associates Kejriwal, Bedi, Sisodia and others can sit on hunger strike and the crusade will go on," wrote Thackeray in his letter to Anna.
