School principal arrested on charges of prostitution

Hubli, Aug 23: The school principal of a pre-primary school in Hubli has been arrested on the charges of running a flesh trade.

On Monday, Aug 22 Police commissioner K Ramachandra Rao said that a police team headed by ACP A R Badiger raided the principal's house and busted the racket.

The accused, Sulomi Vijayakumar Zande of Hosur, had been running the racket for the past few years. But the school authorities weren't aware of her activities, the police chief said.

Clients used to contact her over the phone and she would arrange for the girls. She was also running flesh trade in her rented house at Hosur. Even college girls were her victims, he added.
