Rain water on dais at Ramlila Maidan

New Delhi, Aug 23: Rain water accumulated at the dais where Anna Hazare is holding a fast at Ramlila Maidan here, forcing volunteers to drain out the water from the stage using buckets.

Sudden rains took thousands of Hazare's supporters in the city by surprise as they ran looking for shelter at the spacious Ramlila Maidan.

Volunteers of ''India Against Corruption'' used buckets and other means to drain the water out. A tent also collapsed forcing people to flee from the spot. Sudden rains have made the maidan filthy and volunteers were seen using big buckets to drain the water out.
