Salman Khurshid meets Arvind Kejriwal; Anna to end fast?

New Delhi, Aug 23: Seeking an end to the deadlock between Team Anna and government, Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid met Anna Hazare aide and social activist Arvind Kejriwal.

After the meeting with Arvind Kejriwal, Salman Khurshid said that there was no concrete proposal on both sides. He added that he can only pray, wish and hope for an end to the deadlock situation.

Activist Kejriwal refused to comment on the meeting and said that he will inform Anna Hazare about the details discussed in the meeting.

It was the first time any government representative meeting Team Anna since Anna Hazare started his fast at Ramlila Maidan.

Meanwhile, Civil Society member and former Karnataka Lokayukta member, Santhosh Hegde urged Anna Hazare to end the fast. He said that he was concerned about Anna's health and Anna should end the fast against corruption as he gained support from all walks of life.
