Anna Hazare supporters call Rahul Gandhi a 'thief'

New Delhi, Aug 23: While Anna Hazare wants Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi as the government mediator, it seems like Anna supporters are not happy with his decision. On the eight day of Anna Hazare's indefinite fast to pressurise the UPA government to enact Jan Lokpal Bill, supporters shouted slogans against Rahul Gandhi.

Students and young professionals at Ramlila Maidan raised slogans against Rahul Gandhi for his silence on the issue. Protesters asked why young Gandhi scion was missing while the entire young generation support Anna Hazare and Jan Lokpal Bill.

Some of the Anna protesters raised slogans like, "Gali Gali mein shor hai, Rahul Gandhi chor hai" against Rahul Gandhi, who always speak about the role of youth in Indian democracy.

Rahul's mother and Congress President, Sonia Gandhi, was also facing people's ire. Supporters alleged that Congress party has became brainless without Sonia. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other senior Congress leaders' names were also heard in the slogans.
