Villager files complaint against AIADMK MLA

Erode, Aug 21 : A villager has filed a complaint with police alleging that AIADMK MLA of Bhavani, P G Narayanan was threatening him to sell off his house and work shed, said the police.

They said one Vasudevan of Varnapuram, a suburb of Bhavani, in his complaint alleged that the MLA had threatened him to sell his 5500 square feet house and carpet weaving shed for a low price for about Rs 20 lakhs to a person, much less than the market price of Rs 90 lakhs

The man said he had been trying to sell the house and shed for the last three years as he had been incurring losses in his business. When the MLA came to know of it he wanted him to sell it, which he refused and moved to another area

The complainant claimed he had recorded the conversation with the MLA in which he threatened him on his mobile and converted it to CD and submitted it to police.

Police said they would conduct an investigation and assured him of due action if his complaint was found true.
