Aruna Roy, new threat to Anna's Jan Lokpal & Govt's Lokpal?

New Delhi, Aug 20: A new competitor has emerged in the battleground to fight for the anti-corruption bill. The new team led by social activist Aruna Roy might give a tough fight to the government and the Team Anna in bringing the law.

According to sources, Aruna Roy, who is believed as the guru of Anna's close aide Arvind Kejriwal, came with the third version of Lokpal which demands PM under the ambit of ombudsman. However, Aruna Roy's version of Lokpal Bill claims that judges should not be included under Lokpal's ambit.

Pointing at Hazare's close aides such as - Kiran Bedi, Prashant Bhushan, Arvind Kejriwal, Shanti Bhushan, Aruna Roy also claimed, "Anna Hazare has bee ill-advised."

However, criticising the government, the social activist also asserted, "arrest of Anna Hazare was a wrong decision and move of the government."

Aruna Roy, the founder of Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathana, claimed that the government should make an anti-corruption law based on strong positive points comparing the three versions - government's Lokpal, Team Anna's Jan Lokpal and Aruna Raoy's latest version.
