Jan Lokpal: Anna Hazare's 'lone' fast disappoints supporters

Anna was not alone when he had staged the fast-unto-death for the first time at Jantar Mantar in Apr 2011. Over 300 people had observed fast showing rage against the government along with the crusader.
But this time people have been watching a different scene when Anna started his indefinite fast at Ramlila Maidan from Friday, Aug 19. Anna has been seen seating alone on the high stage while his close aides and crucial members of Team Anna - Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan - all speak from the dais.
After being rejected from the India Against Corruption (IAC) committee, a disappointed supporters was being quoted as saying, "This reeks of high handed attitude of IAC. They do not want our views to be heard."
However, IAC spokesperson claimed, "Annaji himself wants this. He says, energies of other people should be diverted for mobilising the country."
Meanwhile, several other supporters, who had gathered at India Gate to get a glimpse of their "Hero" on Friday, were disappointed after Anna skipped his visit to the magnificent iconic structure. Earlier it was scheduled that Anna will visit India Gate before moving to Ramlila from Tihar.
