Anna Hazare vows to "not give up" the fast for Jan Lokpal

Already on the fifth day of his fast, the social activist from Maharastra who was born as Kisan Rao Hazare, has declared that he will "not give up" the fast. Speaking to his supporters at Ramlila Maidan, the venue of his protest fast, Hazare said, "I have lost 3.5 kg over the past four days... but there is nothing to worry."
He added, "I will not give up...we will keep fighting until we get the Jan Lokpal bill passed."
But in what could be a sign of things to come, there has been a relatively less number of people at the Ramlila Maidan than there were on Aug 19, the fourth day of his fast.
