Anna to go to Ramlila Maidan on Aug 19, to remain in Tihar

New Delhi, Aug 18: Anna Hazare who was to go to Ramlila Maidan on Aug 18 (today) will now go to the scheduled venue on Aug 19, said reports.

According to reports, Anna was to leave for the venue by two today, but he will come out of Tihar jail only tomorrow because the venue is not ready.

Meanwhile, there are reports that 50 percent of the Ramlila Maidan have been levelled and the ground has capacity to hold at least 40,000 people.

Yoginder Chandolia, Municipal Corporation of Delhi's Chairman had earlier assured India Against Corruption (IAC) organisers that the venue would be handed over to them by 2 pm today.

Provisions have also been made for six mobile toilets for at least 50,000 to 70,000 people who are expected to attend Anna's campaign.

Meanwhile, there is news that Anna would be shifted to hospital after few days.
