Cong invites Anna to fight 'corrupt practices' of Modi

Ahemdabad, Aug 17: Anna Hazare and his team have been called by the Gujarat Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) to lead a fight against the corrupt practices of Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of the state.
“Anna and his team instead of wasting their time on Lokpal bill, should come to Gujarat and fight against the corruption practices of Modi," said Arjun Modhwadia, president GPCC.
Narendra Modi, during the Independence day celebration, had blamed Rahul Gandhi for extending support to farmers in order to gain publicity.
“It was Rahul who had come to the aid of Mahuva farmers. He was not doing it for any publicity," said Modhwadia.
"Usually, one keeps away from making any political statements at a state function, but Modi used the state platform to attack his political opponents," he said adding that the CM had no right to comment on Rahul Gandhi at the Independence day.
Meanwhile, there is news that Anna Hazare would soon be out of Tihar Jail and head straight towards JP Park, the venue where his proposed fast would take place. However, section 144 is still imposed at the venue, Raj Ghat and several other places in Delhi.
